Task3

That’s me at the age of about 4. The picture was taken in the kindergarten during one of the annual balls. No I can surely admit that it was the best period of my childhood. I really enjoyed attending kindergarten, I had lots of friends there and we used to have a lot of fun. The teachers were nice and everything seemed to be so perfect. Now I really miss those times of full jauntiness and joy… Nevertheless, I’ve got beautiful memories, and that’s what counts!!!

Task2

The Internet provides so many opportunities for its users that it is extremely hard to choose one website worth recommending. The website I really enjoy visiting is www.bbc.co.uk It offers a wide range of information, such as current news from all over the world. You can also read about politics, sport, technology and entertainment there. The website offers not only current news but foremost it’s a reliable source of information. If you don’t like reading you may also listen to bbc radio or watch bbc Tv online. Have fun! :-)

My first contact with the computer...

My first contact with the computer was when I was about ten. A friend of mine got one from her parents and I first approached this “mysterious machine” during one of our meetings. At the very beginning it was hard for me to get used to the mouse but after a while it turned out to be not that difficult. The first computer program that I was introduced to was paint. I can still remember those funny pictures that we used to draw with my friend. It was a huge fun for us! Then after about a year I got my own computer. When I was younger I was using computer mainly for fun (drawing, listening to the music, watching films etc.), now I use it for writing my diploma paper or to prepare presentations to my classes. But the best thing of all is the Internet and the possibility to keep in touch with my foreign friend.
